Relfection on Poems

1.     William Wordsworth once said “Poetry is a spontaneous overflow of powerful emotions/feelings” this is what poetry means to me and it is how it affects me. It can make me laugh and it can make me feel very bad depending on what the poems is about.

2.     There are many poetic devices like “Alliteration, onomatopoeia and a lot more.” But my favorite poetic device is rhythm. When I was a little toddler whenever anyone mention poetry I always thought of rhyming words.

3.      The poem I choose to write about is called the month poem. This is because you have to make a rhyme for every month of the year. It can be very personal like birth days or special days.

4.     I will represent my poem as a ppp= power point presentation.

                                        Corn Flakes V.S Corn Flakes

Gosh I hate that nesquick dude. I can’t believe that children don’t understand that he’s full of sugar, while I on the other hand am a very healthy snack for you. Oh I am sorry, where are my manners. My name is Corn Flakes, I live in a very very boring store called “Maxi” not only is it boring but I have to share MY shelf with the biggest show off I have ever seen in my life. And that’s not the worst news. He gets all the ladies including special K and the Barbie dolls who are located in the shelf in front of us, that’s just makes me very annoyed. I was going to stand up to nesquick someday but surely not today because there were a few children coming in and they were dashing toward us. This could be the moment I waited my whole entire life. To go home and have a nice life seeing kids happy running around. So I stud up straight and was very proud of myself. But all of a sudden this enormous guy stud in front of me, blocking my view of the children. It was no surprise that the children came straight to nesquick. But then the tallest kid look at me with very interested eyes he came to me picked me up and put me in the shopping cart I made faces to nesquick to show him that I have won. Maybe he gets all the girls in the store but I get the kids who where more important. As I came to the cash register it hit me I was going to live my dream!
